Sunday, November 10th, 2013: Don McLaghlan thought he could skirt the rules, but in the end, he was caught. A recent drug test revealed that the 19-year-old Hoyas starting pitcher had taken drugs and today the league handed out his punishment: a 10-game suspension.
McLaghlan did not comment when asked about the situation.

Thursday, September 26th, 2013: "Play by the rules or suffer the consequences," was the comment by the league commissioner after he announced the latest drug suspension. This time it was left fielder Aydan Koons of the Georgetown Hoyas. He was found in violation of the league anti-drug policy and has been given a 10-game suspension.

Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Southern League Brooks Wallace Aware.
Rivas hit for a .394 average while collecting 87 hits, 17 doubles, 2 triples, 32 home runs, 81 RBIs and scoring 83 times.
