PIO Announces Outstanding Batter Award
Saturday, October 6th, 2012: The top votegetter in this year's Pioneer League PIO MVP balloting was Doug Hester, the outstanding Great Falls first baseman. He finished the season with a .393 average and a .466 on-base percentage. Doug Hester also registered 75 hits, 11 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 37 RBIs and 29 runs scored.

Great Falls Ace Takes PIO Pitcher of the Year
Friday, October 5th, 2012: The Pioneer League made the official announcement today. The 2012 Pioneer League PIO Pitcher of the Year has gone to Vicente Guillén of Great Falls.

He had a superlative season, chalking up a 9-5 won-lost mark with an impressive 3.41 ERA.

Guillén logged 17 starts, threw 108.1 innings, yielded 123 hits, struck out 57 and held the opposition to a .277 batting average.
