Portland's Mayora Wins PCL PCL MVP
Sunday, September 29th, 2013: Daniel Mayora of the Portland Beavers proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Pacific Coast League PCL MVP.

Mayora hit for a .331 average while collecting 172 hits, 46 doubles, 10 triples, 8 home runs, 83 RBIs and scoring 90 times.
Texas's Taylor Gets PCL Pitcher of the Year
Saturday, September 28th, 2013: It's official! The Pacific Coast League PCL Pitcher of the Year for 2013 goes to Texas Rangers relief ace Allen Taylor.

He had a dazzling season, making 63 relief appearances and nailing down 34 saves as he beat out all comers for the award.

Taylor put up a season record of 9-3 and a solid 2.14 ERA. He struck out 65 in 71.1 innings, allowing 67 hits, 15 walks and a .245 average.
Year's Best Gloves Selected by Pacific Coast League
Friday, September 27th, 2013: Good defense can be the difference between taking the championship and coming in second. The Pacific Coast League announced its top defenders at each position today. Here are the Gold Glove winners for 2013:
