Orioles Lose Bell for 2 Days
Tuesday, September 10th, 2013: The Baltimore Orioles got some bad news when the team learned that Keith Bell was likely to be out for 2 days after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the Oakland Athletics. A round of tests by the team doctors revealed the injury to be 5. Upon learning of their diagnosis, the Baltimore manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Keith is back in action."

In his season totals, Bell has 42 home runs, .288 BA, .332 OBP, 118 RBIs and 102 runs scored. He has played in 141 games.
Rehab Setback For César Zapata

According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Zapata experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least one week.
